JULY 2, 2026 — WORCESTER, MA — Worcester came together for America 250 as Bay State Bank helped lead the city’s 250th Independence Day celebration in partnership with the City of Worcester and Discover Central Massachusetts. The free, family-friendly event at Cristoforo Colombo Park welcomed families, neighbors, and visitors for an unforgettable evening honoring 250 years of American independence and Worcester’s important place in the nation’s founding story.
From live music by Dan Gabel and his Orchestra and family activities to sponsor exhibits, giveaways, and a fireworks finale, the celebration showcased the best of the community. Bay State Bank’s team played a key role in making the night possible, helping support the event from start to finish and bring the celebration to life.
The evening began with food, entertainment, sponsor exhibits, giveaways, and family activities before live music by Dan Gabel and his Orchestra and a fireworks display synchronized to music capped off the night. It gave residents and visitors a chance to gather, celebrate, and reflect on the resilience, determination, innovation, and community spirit that continue to move Worcester forward.
Bay State Bank President and CEO Seth A.
