How to get Started

A simple step-by-step process

Getting started begins with a no-cost Home Energy Assessment and continues with guidance from Mass Save and your chosen contractor.

Steps include:

  • Schedule a free Home Energy Assessment through Mass Save by calling 1-866-527-SAVE (7283)
  • Choose a Mass Save–participating contractor and obtain a proposal
  • Submit required forms and documentation

  • Apply for your HEAT Loan1 once authorized

  • Complete upgrades and apply for eligible rebates
  • Schedule a verification inspection
