Worcester, MA — Bay State Bank, in partnership with the City of Worcester and Discover Central Massachusetts, is pleased to host Worcester Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary and Annual Independence Day Celebration, taking place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Cristoforo Colombo Park (East Park), 180 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester, MA. The rain date is Sunday, July 5, 2026.
This year’s celebration marks a historic milestone as Worcester joins communities across the nation in commemorating 250 years of American independence, while also recognizing the City’s unique and significant place in the nation’s founding story.
The free, family-friendly event will bring together residents, families, and visitors from across Central Massachusetts for an evening of celebration, entertainment, and community connection.

4:00 p.m. – Park opens: Food Court, Sponsor Exhibits & Giveaways, Entertainment, and Family Activities
8:00 p.m. – Live Music Performance
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks display with synchronized music broadcast
Featuring Live Music by Dan Gabel and his Orchestra, with special guest, Alisan Porter.
