How to get Started

A simple step-by-step process

Getting started begins with confirming eligibility and a Home Energy Assessment (if needed) and continues with guidance from Mass Save and your chosen contractor.

Steps include:

Confirm Eligibility
Schedule a free Home Energy Assessment (if needed) through Mass Save by calling 1-866-527-SAVE (7283)
Choose a Mass Save–participating contractor and obtain a proposal
Submit required forms and documentation
Apply for your HEAT Loan¹ once authorized
Complete upgrades and apply for eligible rebates
Schedule a verification inspection
